Erin+David at the Disch

engagement session at Disch-Falk FieldI recently had the privilege to shoot at Disch-Falk Field, it was a really fun and different engagement session! Disch-Falk Field is home to the University of Texas baseball team.  Our groom-to-be, David, played on the 2005 National Championship team so he was able to get us access to this awesome venue.  Both Erin and David were great sports (no pun intended!) and a lot of fun.  We tried out all sorts of baseball-related ideas that made sense for an engagement session… and few that didn’t!  I think on my favorites was having David play third base (his position when played on the team) and then having Erin try and steal from 2nd to 3rd.  Her expression is priceless as she’s taking off from second!  I wonder if she could that in her wedding dress?  :)

Laura+Ross Engagement

Who doesn’t love a little champagne to test drive your soon-to-be wedding crystal?

Amanda+Stuart Driskill Engagement

Amanda and Stuart are getting married on New Year’s Eve this year and thought a NYE themed shoot would be perfect for their save-the-dates. Plus, it was February and a good chance to have cold or rainy weather (which we got both) so having one indoor set really helped.

Kristen+Kyle: Adventures in Austin Traffic

A great photographic lesson with Kristen and Kyle that day while doing their engagement pictures.  A great icebreaker for any photo shoot is to be thrust into something hazardous, perilous or even something you aren’t a 100% certain of the outcome.
