Engagement in an open fieldOK, so one way to outsmart the brutal Texas heat; get up early.  When faced with the proposition of sweating to death, Rebecca and Mark very wisely opted to get out of bed early.  A good Austin wedding photographer knows the best times of day to shoot here (assuming it’s a typical sunny Austin kind of day) is two hours before sunset or two hours after sunrise.  During the hottest times of the year that’s difference in 78 degrees and 103 degrees. I had an absolute blast shooting with Rebecca and Mark; Mark had me cracking up within the first 30 seconds of the shoot.  Usually it’s the other way around, meaning I’m the one putting those guys at ease while we’re getting warmed up.  They were so much fun to shoot and I can’t wait for the wedding!
